Captain John Gordon grew up fishing the waters of citrus county and the Homosassa / Chassahowitzka Rivers. Born and raised in Tampa Fl, his grandparents purchased riverfront property in the 1960s. Catching speckled sea-trout and redfish in the crystal clear waters of Chassahowitzka and Homosassa without another boat in sight are some of his fondest childhood memories. Capt. John has built a successful fishing charter business in Tampa Bay and for the last 17 years has become one of the top guides in the area. However, the shallow flats of Chassahowitzka Bay have been on the back of his mind and the time has come to offer fishing charters where it all began, where he caught his first fish ever.
