Captain John Gordon
Homosassa, FL Fishing Charter
As a true 4th generation Floridian, Captain John Gordon grew up fishing. Born and raised in Odessa Fl, his grandparents purchased riverfront property in Chassahowitzka in the 1960s. Catching speckled sea-trout and redfish in the crystal clear waters of Chassahowitzka and Homosassa without another boat in sight are some of his fondest childhood memories.
Capt. John has built a successful fishing charter business in the Tampa Bay area and for the last 17 years has become one of the top guides in the area. However, the shallow flats and rivers of Homosassa and Chassahowitzka have been on the back of his mind.
As a career Firefighter/Paramedic, the goal of retiring and moving his fishing charter business back to where it all began, where he caught his first fish ever, has become a reality.
