When the day is done, your catch will be cleaned and filleted for you to take home. Guests are welcome to bring their own food and drinks. Current Conditions, Hot Spots & What’s Biting This Week in Homosassa

The bite is steady across the Homosassa area, with great opportunities both inshore and offshore.

Inshore:
Redfish are active along the mangrove edges and oyster bars, especially during the higher stages of the tide. Anglers using live shrimp or cut bait are seeing solid hookups. Snook are holding near structure and flowing channels, hitting soft plastics and live pinfish. Seatrout action remains consistent over the grass flats in 3–5 feet of water, especially early in the morning using popping cork rigs or paddle tails.

Nearshore:
Spanish Mackerel and Mangrove Snapper are around the rock piles and ledges just a few miles out. Small live bait or jigs tipped with shrimp are producing well. Tripletail are also being spotted near floating debris and crab trap buoys—bring a rod rigged with a shrimp under a float just in case.
